Founded in 1995 by Prof. Ray von Schmalz, the Canadian English Centre in Curitiba, Brazil, provides high-quality English education using exclusive teaching methods and a focus on Canadian culture. The school has grown from a small classroom to a large, custom-designed facility, offering specialized programs and a unique exchange program with Canadian and U.S. educators.
The Centre’s mission is to offer language education that rivals immersion programs in Canada while also promoting Canadian values, history, and culture. It hosts lectures like “This is Canada” to share insights into the country and provides ongoing support to students after graduation through maintenance programs.
